Ocean Jasper, sometimes called Orbicular Jasper or Sea Jasper, is a rare variety of jasper, a type of chalcedony composed primarily of silicon dioxide. Unlike other jaspers, Ocean Jasper stands out for its multi-coloured, orb-like patterns that form during its creation in volcanic rock. These patterns, created by minerals like iron and manganese, give the stone its signature look—think greens, blues, pinks, yellows, and whites swirling together like ocean waves or coral reefs.
This pendant measures 48mm x 28mm.
Pendants are sold with either a sterling silver or leather necklace to make your look your own.
